We had a great private showing this weekend! The ladies and the one sweet guy shopping for his lucky wife, got a real treat, exclusive shopping for pieces not available on the website! Wine was flowing and we had a wonderful fun time! Here are just a few pictures from the event. A big thank you to our beautiful and gracious host.

Dress for Success Art Show

I had the pleasure of being a guest at The Dress for Success Art Show. The event was wonderful, intimate, and very well put together. The perfect atmosphere to enjoy the beautiful art on display and mix and mingle. The cost of admission, and a portion of the proceeds from all of the art sold, were donated to Dress for Success. Dress for Success is a not for profit organization that has been of service to the community since 1997. The mission of the organization is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help
them thrive in work and in life. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many women supporting and uplifting each other in business and life.
The event featured the work of some very talented local artists including WTTG Fox 5 news anchor (and Fezelry Jewelry lover) Shawn Yancy

That's right! Shawn Yancy, is not only one of DC's local news journalist! She is also a very talented artist. Her work is even more beautiful in person and I simply can't pick a favorite beacuse all of her work is fabulous! The Art of Redesign.. (Earring Reincarnation)

My client hands me these simple black wood earrings and says.. "Can you make these into something...else?"

Sure can!

Before..

Simple kidney shaped black wood earrings.

The earrings were only drilled at the top, once I decided what they were to become I had the joy of getting out the husbands man drill and drilling new holes at the bottom of each earring. (I'm currently looking for more things to drill!)

All the materials ready to bring new life to the lonely little earrings.

Mix em all together and what do you get?

The reincarnation of a pair of earrings.. into a new jewelry set.

A brand new jewelry set. The once simple wood earrings are redesigned into a funky and fun necklace, and new earrings were created to complete the look. I added a few crystals for subtle sparkle, the necklace can be worn long or doubled for a completely different look.
